Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe and comfortable patient transfers and ambulation
Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being and independence

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active ability to work in Pennsylvania (credentialing as required by facility)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable providing direct patient care and working as part of a team
Willingness to pass background checks and health screenings
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside manner skills
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic infection control and safety practices
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
