Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
- Perform routine documentation and charting accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean and safe environment while following infection control practices
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care with respect and dignity
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Previous experience as a CNA or in long-term care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and observational skills
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
- Ability to follow care plans and document care accurately
- Basic knowledge of mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
