Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and meaningful support
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and ambulation
- Measure and document vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
- Keep patient areas clean, stocked, and comfortable
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (or eligible) in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic clinical tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of infection control and basic safety protocols
- Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
