Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support residents with safe transfers and proper use of mobility aids
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and facility protocols
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
• Assist with feeding and documentation of intake as needed, promoting patient dignity and comfort
• Participate in shift handoffs and charting to maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential valid in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment health screenings
• Comfort with routine physical tasks (lifting, standing, assisting mobility)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Reliable transportation to and from the Glen Mills facility

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational nursing care and patient assistance techniques
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Infection control practices and safe PPE use
• Basic charting and documentation in electronic or paper records
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
