Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support daily living activities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting needs
- Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes in condition
- Document care activities and resident responses clearly and promptly
- Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
- Demonstrated bedside manner and commitment to resident-centered care
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care setting
Education
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Basic patient handling and safe transfer techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
