Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
- Help with safe transfers, positioning and mobility support
- Accurately document care and observations in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state-certified required)
- Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working 12+ hour shifts and adapting to schedule needs
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completed CNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and safety practices
- Basic vital signs and patient monitoring
- Infection control and safe handling techniques
- Clear, timely documentation and communication
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
