Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record patient vitals and report any changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
Support mobility and positioning to promote patient comfort and prevent complications
Communicate clearly and courteously with patients, families, and the care team
Document care provided accurately and timely in patient records

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-required credential)
Demonstrated experience in direct patient care preferred
Comfortable with basic patient mobility and personal care tasks
Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Attention to detail for charting and following care plans
