Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with hygiene, dressing, mobility, and toileting while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition promptly
Support safe transfer and ambulation techniques and help prevent falls
Document care and observations clearly in the resident record
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support resident needs
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — must be eligible to work in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Compassionate attitude, patience, and excellent communication skills
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Reliable attendance and ability to work collaboratively with the care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to take and document vital signs and basic observations
Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Comfortable working in a fast-paced caregiving environment
Strong teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills
