Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support while following proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Support a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of California
• Proven ability to provide patient-focused care with respect and empathy
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role including lifting and transfers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
• Per-diem availability for the scheduled shift date (April 10, 2026)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with patient care routines and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Time management skills to prioritize patient needs
• Teamwork and effective communication with nursing staff
• Professional bedside manner and patient advocacy
