Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers and safe ambulation to promote independence
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Support a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Help with feeding and hydration while monitoring intake as directed
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Build rapport with patients and family members to deliver respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and basic clinical tasks
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but supportive training is available

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, patient hygiene, safe transfers
• Patient safety and infection control practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
