Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple research protocols from feasibility through study closeout — own the process and keep studies on track
• Serve as the liaison between site staff, investigators, and study sponsors to ensure smooth communication
• Verify informed consent and protect participant safety by following protocol requirements and regulatory guidance
• Collect, enter, and monitor data for accuracy in case report forms and electronic data capture systems
• Create site-specific source documentation tools when needed and perform source document review
• Track and report adverse events, protocol deviations, and respond to monitoring/auditing findings
• Manage study logistics including drug/device shipments, supplies, and scheduling participant visits
• Participate in study meetings, investigator visits, and internal research team discussions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant clinical research or hospital experience — industry trials experience preferred
• Experience with pulling records from an EMR and basic data management skills
• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator preferred but not required — we will support development
• Competency or training in ECG acquisition, phlebotomy, and specimen handling preferred
• Ability to complete required health screenings: Hepatitis B, influenza (or declination), MMR, and varicella titers

Education

• Bachelor's degree required

Knowledge & Skills

• Working knowledge of ICH guidelines and the Code of Federal Regulations (emerging proficiency expected)
• Familiarity with clinical trial procedures and regulatory compliance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
• Comfort using EMR systems and electronic data capture tools
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities
