Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support the nursing team with timely documentation and clear communication
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every resident
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (per state requirements)
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Comfortable with patient handling, transfers, and basic infection control practices
- Dependable, compassionate, and ready to be part of a close-knit care team
- Basic CPR/First Aid preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient-centered care and bedside manners
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, mobility support
- Good observation skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
- Time management and dependable attendance to support continuity of care
