Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents’ needs and preferences are honored

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in Pennsylvania)
Active basic life support/CPR certification (preferred or required per facility)
Demonstrated experience in direct patient care preferred
Ability to lift/transfer patients and perform physical tasks associated with resident care
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Background check and immunizations per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care and assisting with activities of daily living
Knowledge of infection control practices and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to observe, accurately report, and escalate changes in resident condition
Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with nursing staff and families
