Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and emotional support
• Help with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
• Document patient care and observations clearly and promptly in the chart
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain if required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently on per-diem shifts
• Previous patient care experience is a plus but new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong basic patient care skills and knowledge of activities of daily living
• Ability to take and interpret vital signs and recognize changes in condition
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic documentation skills and comfort with electronic charting or paper records
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
