Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Measure and document vital signs and patient observations accurately
• Support mobility and safe transfers, promoting patient comfort and dignity
• Assist the nursing team with daily tasks and promptly report changes in condition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
• Follow infection prevention, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times
• Document care and observations clearly to keep the care team informed

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state-approved) — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-approved)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
