Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; days vary)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition during your shift
- Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Document care accurately and communicate changes in resident status to the team
- Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and able to respond to changing needs
- Ability to follow care plans, document clearly, and work collaboratively with the team
- Background checks and immunizations as required by facility policy
- CPR certification preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental patient care skills including bathing, toileting, and feeding assistance
- Basic knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for handoffs and documentation
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
- Teamwork mindset and a calm, patient-centered approach
