Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility)
• Assist with safe transfers and proper use of mobility aids to promote resident safety
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
• Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by following infection control and facility protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Engage residents with dignity and respect, fostering a positive and therapeutic atmosphere

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings as required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient hygiene
• Competence taking and recording vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Basic documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with the care team
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to support diverse resident needs
• Time management skills to prioritize resident care during night shift
