Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to keep the care team informed
• Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver consistent, person-centered care
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Pennsylvania preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills with patients and families
• Previous CNA experience is a plus; enthusiastic new CNAs are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care tasks
• Able to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection control and basic safety protocols
• Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
• Strong observational skills and ability to report changes promptly
• Teamwork and time-management in a clinical setting
