Shift Type: Days vary (per-diem), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $13 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
Provide safe, attentive hands-on care and support to promote resident comfort and independence
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
Follow individualized care plans and ensure accurate, timely documentation
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection prevention practices
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to support person-centered care
Support admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent training
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Dependable, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Reliable transportation and flexibility for per-diem scheduling

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
Familiarity with basic infection control practices
Accurate documentation and charting skills
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Good time management and the ability to follow care plans
