Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to preserve dignity and independence
• Provide direct resident care and compassionate emotional support to enhance quality of life
• Follow the chain of command and report resident changes to the Director of Nursing
• Support assisted living needs with attentive, person-centered care
• Document care activities accurately to ensure continuity and safety of care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care (LTC) or assisted living environments
• Ability to perform ADLs and provide patient/resident support with compassion
• Strong communication skills and willingness to follow chain of command
• Able to work 12-hour day shifts (5:00 AM - 5:00 PM) for the duration of the contract

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in direct resident care and ADLs
• Ability to provide emotional support and build rapport with residents
• Familiarity with assisted living and long-term care routines
• Clear, respectful chain of command communication
• Teamwork and dependable patient/resident support
