Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while following established protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to put patients at ease
• Ensure accurate positioning and image acquisition to support diagnosticians
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and maintain ALARA principles
• Document procedures, maintain records, and manage image transfers to PACS
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and provide coverage for scheduled weekends
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• CT certification (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• Montana state radiologic technologist license (required)
• Comfortable with a 4-day schedule and participating in on-call rotations
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and protection
• Familiarity with PACS/DICOM workflows and image documentation
• Ability to manage contrast-enhanced studies and recognize imaging needs
• Efficient time management and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Clear communication with patients and clinical teams
