Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor nursing staff to deliver high-quality long term care
• Oversee clinical operations and ensure residents receive individualized care plans
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and daily nursing workflows
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and family members to support resident outcomes
• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and support during shifts as needed
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention practices
• Support orientation and competency validation for new clinical staff

Qualifications

• Active licensed nurse required (state-licensed RN or equivalent)
• Experience in long term care and prior leadership or DON experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop nursing teams
• Familiarity with long term care regulations and resident-centered care practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Education

• Active nursing license required; BSN preferred (if available)
