Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments with compassion and clinical excellence
• Develop individualized plans of care and adjust interventions based on patient progress
• Collaborate with nursing, rehab colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Document treatment sessions, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely and professional manner
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safety strategies to support recovery
• Participate in quality initiatives and follow facility protocols to promote safe, effective care

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in North Carolina or eligible to obtain NC licensure
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work all scheduled days (Sunday through Saturday rotation as required)
• Willingness to complete facility-specific onboarding, background check and health screening
• Travel/contract experience is a plus but not required

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s in Physical Therapy or equivalent degree accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong evaluation and treatment skills across skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings
• Proficient with documentation and electronic medical records
• Skilled in safe patient handling and fall prevention strategies
• Excellent communication and patient/family education abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
