Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered respiratory care including breathing treatments and ventilator management
• Perform ventilator assessments and manage Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators with confidence
• Document care accurately in the Meditech EMR to ensure continuity and safety
• Collaborate with ICU and multidisciplinary teams to optimize respiratory outcomes
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control while delivering high-quality critical care
• Coach and support patients and families through respiratory care plans with empathy and clarity

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• NRP certification required
• ICU and critical care experience required (job lists 1 year minimum experience)
• Experience with Hamilton G5 and Hamilton C1 ventilators preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR for charting and documentation
• Level one trauma center experience and 3 years of experience are preferred but not mandatory

Education

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of ventilator management and vent assessments
• Skilled in delivering breathing treatments and critical care respiratory interventions
• Comfortable navigating and documenting in Meditech EMR
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment with high patient ratios
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary settings
