Roles & Responsibilities

• Acquire high-quality transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) images for physician interpretation
• Assess patients across the lifespan and adapt imaging technique to age-specific needs
• Perform patient assessment, prepare patients for studies and ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and care teams to support diagnostic decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure images meet clinical and technical standards
• Participate in quality assurance activities and keep skills current through continuing education
• Operate and help maintain ultrasound equipment and report technical issues promptly

Qualifications

• Active RDCS credential (required) — documentation required with application
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Active New Hampshire state license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience (required)
• Comfort caring for patients from pediatric to geriatric populations
• Resume required; references preferred

Education
