Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform overnight polysomnography studies with attention to pediatric patient needs
- Operate Philips G3 Sleepware for data capture and analysis
- Accurately document studies and patient care in EPIC (Clinical)
- Monitor patient safety throughout the night and respond to clinical events promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the sleep team to ensure high-quality care
- Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and Specialty Specific Competency Testing on schedule
- Maintain infection control practices and required health screenings
Qualifications
- Iowa licensure required
- Pediatric sleep experience required
- BRPT certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Experience with EPIC (Clinical) charting
- Experience using Philips G3 Sleepware
- Ability to complete Trinity competency testing and required health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza vaccine, Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of polysomnography procedures and overnight monitoring
- Familiarity with pediatric sleep study protocols and patient comfort techniques
- Proficiency in EPIC clinical documentation
- Hands-on experience with Philips G3 Sleepware
- Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting
