Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Springbrook Center, focusing on safety and dignity
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine or compact state privileges
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Experience in acute care or relevant nursing setting is preferred
• Ability to maintain required credentials and pass facility onboarding checks
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing assessments, medication administration, and monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and common inpatient procedures
• Excellent patient communication, prioritization, and time management
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when needed
