Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility) with dignity
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, communicating clearly with nursing staff
• Support meal assistance and feeding when needed to ensure nutrition and comfort
• Document care accurately and promptly to maintain high-quality records
• Maintain infection control practices and a safe, clean environment
• Collaborate with the care team to create positive, person-focused experiences for residents

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• MDRC certification or prior MDRC experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and safe resident handling techniques
• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident support
• Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting practices
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Infection control principles and safe work practices
• Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
