Shift Type: Varies (facility assigns specific days). Typical weekly pattern: 2 × 12-hour day shifts and 2 × 8-hour day shifts; common day shift hours 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Day shift (schedule may rotate by week).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to promote comfort and safety
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Document resident care and behaviors clearly and timely in the chart
- Support mobility and help prevent falls through attentive care and safe transfer techniques
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear, respectful communication
Qualifications
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) required
- Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (T-LNA) credentials accepted
- Comfortable working a combination of 12-hour and 8-hour day shifts
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, patient-centered, and able to work as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program and state LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong basic nursing care skills and hands-on resident support
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observations
- Good documentation and basic charting habits
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing resident needs
