Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to promote comfort and safety
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Document resident care and behaviors clearly and timely in the chart
• Support mobility and help prevent falls through attentive care and safe transfer techniques
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) required
• Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (T-LNA) credentials accepted
• Comfortable working a combination of 12-hour and 8-hour day shifts
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, patient-centered, and able to work as part of a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program and state LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong basic nursing care skills and hands-on resident support
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observations
• Good documentation and basic charting habits
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing resident needs
