Shift Type: Per diem (PD Pool), variable/rotating day and night shifts as scheduled (PD Pool)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to PACE participants, supporting dignity and independence
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor participants for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff promptly
- Perform basic clinical tasks per scope of practice, including vital signs and documentation
- Complete required Trinity Skills Checklist and participate in competency verification
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for participants
- Communicate clearly and kindly with participants, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maryland
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
- Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and license/certificate verification
- Meet health requirements: Fit Test; 2-step PPD or IGRA; MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap; COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination; Trinity 10-panel drug screen
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with good communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Basic vital sign measurement and patient observation
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Able to respond calmly in emergencies and follow BLS/NRP/TNCC guidance
- Team collaboration and clear communication with clinical staff
