Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to adults in an outpatient mental health setting
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality care
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and supervision to support best practices
- Manage crisis situations with calm, clinical judgment and appropriate interventions
Qualifications
- Active California LCSW license required (PSY/psychologist credentials considered where applicable)
- Experience delivering clinical services in mental health settings preferred
- Ability to work Mon–Thu 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and attend 3 weeks of M–F training
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach
Education
- Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent graduate degree required; LCSW credential in California
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
- Skilled in crisis intervention and risk assessment
- Comfortable using electronic health records and completing timely documentation
- Cultural competence and ability to engage diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize caseload
