Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and set strategic direction for the Quality Management & Accreditation program across the system.
• Manage day-to-day operations of accreditation, infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, compliance, and credentialing.
• Coordinate and prepare the organization for regulatory and accreditation surveys and audits.
• Design, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives using rapid PDSA cycles and SEARHC Quality Management concepts.
• Partner with EHR teams to integrate quality measurement capacity and generate actionable reports.
• Investigate complaints and provide summary findings and recommendations to executive leadership and the board.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary quality team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or comparable clinical degree with experience in quality management or performance improvement
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Minimum five years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years supervising healthcare professionals
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, present to diverse audiences, and influence organizational change

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in health-related or business field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of accreditation standards, infection prevention, patient safety, risk management, and compliance
• Experience with quality and performance improvement strategies and total quality management principles
• Familiarity with EHR-based quality measurement and report development
• Strong program planning, implementation, and evaluation skills
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, coaching, and mentoring abilities
• Ability to analyze financial and ethical implications of health program decisions
