Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after a shift every week and weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure
Assist surgeons during a wide variety of cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, eyes, and ENT
Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout every surgery
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
Handle specialized equipment such as the DaVinci Robot, stealth navigation, and O-arm imaging

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be currently employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise across ortho, neuro, GYN, eyes, ENT, and robotics cases
Comfortable with trauma plastics, thoracic, and endoscopy procedures
Familiarity with pediatric cases in emergency situations
Ability to work 8 or 12 hour shifts plus rotating call coverage
Commitment to strict fingernail policy and sterile technique standards
