Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital signs to ensure the safest outcomes
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units when needed, showcasing your adaptability
Collaborate with the care team to follow quality metrics and AWHONN guidelines
Support patients through every stage of the birth experience with empathy and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical thinking in obstetric and neonatal care
Drip titration for Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Floating comfortably between LDRP, Med-Surg, and ER
Following AWHONN staffing ratios and quality metrics
