Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER settings
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining continuity of care
Titrate critical drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports with confidence
Respond swiftly to codes for cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis emergencies
Participate in trauma response and stabilize patients for higher-level transfer
Read and interpret telemetry strips independently using Mindray monitors
Collaborate directly with hospitalists in a small, supportive team environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support
Experience floating between MedSurg and Emergency Department settings

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple patient acuities from swing bed rehab to trauma
Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
Understanding of EMTALA regulations
Experience with BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and Hamilton T1 ventilator
