Pharmacy Technician
Location: Durango, Colorado
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Variety of 10-hour shifts including Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, and Saturday-Sunday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
- Manage Pyxis deliveries, inventory, and outdates to keep operations running smoothly
- Conduct crash cart checks and refills to support emergency readiness
- Handle phone triage and respond to medication messages with care and accuracy
- Support all hospital service areas including ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath lab, and hospice
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Active CPhT certification required
- Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
- Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations
- Friendly, flexible, and hardworking attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Sterile compounding techniques
- Pyxis system management and inventory control
- Crash cart management
- Phone triage and medication message response
- Epic EHR and Pyxis dispensing systems
- Hospital pharmacy operations across multiple service areas
