Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variety of 10-hour shifts including Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, and Saturday-Sunday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
Manage Pyxis deliveries, inventory, and outdates to keep operations running smoothly
Conduct crash cart checks and refills to support emergency readiness
Handle phone triage and respond to medication messages with care and accuracy
Support all hospital service areas including ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath lab, and hospice
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

Active CPhT certification required
Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations
Friendly, flexible, and hardworking attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Pyxis system management and inventory control
Crash cart management
Phone triage and medication message response
Epic EHR and Pyxis dispensing systems
Hospital pharmacy operations across multiple service areas
