Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips while managing arterial lines and complex patient conditions
Collaborate with a supportive team that includes charge nurses and patient care techs to deliver excellent outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Champion patient experience by focusing on responsiveness, clear medication communication, and a welcoming environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency managing arterial lines and titrating drips
Strong assessment skills and comfort reading telemetry independently
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Valid driver's license at time of submission to confirm travel radius

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration and arterial line management
Care for cardiac, vascular, sepsis, stroke, dialysis, and post-procedure patients
Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Cultural sensitivity serving diverse patient populations
