Registered Nurse - Neuro Telemetry
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to neuro-telemetry patients including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and brain tumors
- Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin, and Heparin to maintain patient stability
- Interpret EKGs and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes using central monitoring
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver bedside report and ensure seamless continuity of care
- Float to other telemetry units and ICU overflow as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Neuro experience highly preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
- Titration of cardiac and insulin drips
- Cerner EMR documentation
- Central line dressing changes and sterile technique
- Foley catheter insertion
