End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with RNs and cath lab staff during hybrid cases and standby support
Float to Main OR for vascular cases when experienced, expanding your skill set
Respond to call shifts and provide critical coverage during evenings, nights, and weekends

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
Current BLS certification
Robotics experience preferred but not required - training provided on Da Vinci XI system
Scrub experience preferred for RNs but not mandatory
Willingness to take call and work varied shift lengths

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to adapt quickly in high-volume cardiac and vascular cases
Comfort working in a collaborative environment with charge nurse support
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
