Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with cath lab staff during hybrid cases and provide standby support for vascular procedures
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage for emergent cases
Float to Main OR when needed and support a variety of surgical specialties

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
BLS certification required
Robotics experience preferred but not required - training available
Previous CVOR or surgical tech experience welcomed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to respond quickly during on-call situations within 30 minutes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with 22-45 cases daily
Willingness to learn robotics and support cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures
