Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with self-scheduling and block scheduling options

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular and general procedures
Assist surgeons during open heart and endovascular cases with precision and care
Maintain sterile technique throughout all surgical procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to general OR as needed to support the broader surgical services team

Qualifications

Current CST certification required
BLS certification required
Colorado DORA license required
Open heart and endovascular experience strongly preferred
Previous CVOR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
Expertise in sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to work efficiently in high-acuity OR environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between CVOR and general OR settings
