Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and clinical services for patients across the lifespan, from infants to geriatrics
• Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based treatment for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Perform swallowing and dysphagia evaluations and implement appropriate interventions and safety plans
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nursing, PT/OT, and social work to coordinate care
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes clearly and on time to support continuity of care
• Float between inpatient and outpatient rehab settings as required to meet patient and facility needs
• Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a patient-centered clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma speech-language pathology license or eligibility for Oklahoma licensure
• Minimum 1 year of SLP clinical experience (required)
• BLS (AHA) and NIH certification required at time of submission
• ACLS (AHA) preferred; include if available
• Willingness to float between inpatient and outpatient rehab locations (required)
• Recent traveler experience preferred but not mandatory
• Two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years as part of submission packet
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) and complete work history

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in dysphagia assessment and treatment and safe swallowing strategies
• Experience treating neurogenic communication disorders and cognitive-communication deficits
• Proficient with evaluation and intervention for voice and fluency disorders
• Comfortable working across inpatient and outpatient rehab environments
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and teamwork skills
• Accurate clinical documentation and outcome measurement
• Patient-centered approach with cultural sensitivity and adaptability
