Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes across Bardstown and Elizabethtown locations
Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, including those recovering from stroke
Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients regain speech and language skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed

Qualifications

Active Kentucky SLP license required at time of submission
CCC-SLP certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Home health experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Experience working with patients who have aphasia and other communication disorders
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to work independently in home health settings
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Comfortable traveling between two locations approximately 28 miles apart
