Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for 20 surgeons across multiple specialties
Serve as a key liaison between surgeons offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff
Ensure all cases align with ASC policies, block utilization, and surgeon availability
Manage schedule adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-ons to keep patient flow smooth
Coordinate with leadership to optimize daily case volume and room utilization
Maintain accurate scheduling data and ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and accreditation standards
Deliver excellent customer service as the friendly face of the ASC

Qualifications

Experience in surgical scheduling or outpatient surgery center operations preferred
Strong organizational skills for a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Familiarity with scheduling systems and regulatory standards like HIPAA

Education

High school diploma required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare administration preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in coordinating multiple stakeholders
Flexibility and sound judgment under pressure
Attention to detail for accurate data management
