Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and lead a comprehensive risk management program ensuring top-notch patient safety
Conduct Root Cause Analyses and Failure Mode Effects Analyses to drive meaningful process improvements
Investigate adverse incidents and coordinate disclosures with compassion and precision
Facilitate Patient Safety Rounds and deliver impactful education to staff and physicians
Collaborate with leadership and medical directors on quality initiatives and regulatory compliance
Analyze patient grievances and stay ahead of industry risk trends to protect our community

Qualifications

Current full, unrestricted, active Registered Nursing license in Alaska
CPHRM certification within two years
Clinical Competency required within 3 months and every 3 years thereafter
3+ years experience in risk management, patient safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Education

Registered Nursing license in Alaska

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects Analyses (FMEA)
Strong leadership in facilitating cross-functional teams
In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards like DNV, TJC, CMS
Collaborative risk management program development
