Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. On-call required, every other weekend.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as a circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and sterile field maintenance
Assist with orthopedic and ENT surgeries, providing skilled nursing care and support
Coordinate with surgical team to ensure smooth procedural flow
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgery
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

Current and valid RN License in California
Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire
Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
Orthopedic and ENT nursing experience required
Must be able to take call and work every other weekend

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

OR nursing and circulating skills
EPIC EMR proficiency
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle fast-paced surgical environment
