Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate compassionate nursing care for residents across all ages, tailoring to their unique needs
Lead with confidence as charge nurse, supervising CNAs, LPNs, and team members
Perform thorough assessments and craft individualized care plans that truly make a difference
Educate patients and families with patience and clarity to empower their health journey
Respond calmly in emergencies, making sound decisions that safeguard lives
Document meticulously in EHR while collaborating seamlessly with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska (or applied for direct hire)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Clinical Competency Assessment within 3 months and every three years
High Risk Competency within 3 months and annually
Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nursing assessment, patient teaching, and leadership
Proficient in EHR documentation and charge nurse duties
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, pharmaceuticals, and emergency response
Skilled in operating medical equipment and applying scientific principles
Excellent oral and written communication for team collaboration
