Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program aligned with top regulatory standards
Collect, analyze, and report critical infection control data to national networks
Educate and train staff, patients, and communities on vital infection prevention practices
Chair the IPC committee and oversee the Employee Health program
Travel to various SEARHC sites to assess, educate, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

Current unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state
Certification in Infection Control and Prevention (CIC)
BLS current within 3 months of hire
Clinical Competency and Manager Competency within 3 months
Minimum 3 years acute care or infection control experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field required (nursing, public health, epidemiology, microbiology, or similar)
Master's degree in healthcare-related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Epidemiology and infectious disease expertise
Data analysis, statistics, and reporting proficiency
MS Office and database applications mastery
Project management and performance improvement skills
