Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver expert nursing care for patients of all ages
Make independent clinical decisions with full accountability
Supervise CNAs and team members to ensure top patient safety
Respond calmly to emergencies with sound judgment
Develop care plans and maintain detailed records
Collaborate across departments for seamless patient support
Maintain supplies and uphold infection control standards

Qualifications

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within 6 months)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred especially for ED
Clinical Competency Assessment and High Risk Competency within 3 months

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Deep knowledge of nursing and medical practices
Skilled in supervising teams harmoniously
Ability to innovate nursing methods
Strong independent decision-making
Tactful communication with patients, families, and staff
