Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with clinical leaders to establish standardized competencies that elevate patient care
Develop and implement evidence-based curriculum for nursing and CNA training
Support preceptorships and student clinical experiences for seamless onboarding
Streamline clinical competency programs to meet policy and accreditation standards
Collaborate on team projects to boost employee growth and retention
Promote the Seven Standards of Excellence while using research to improve outcomes

Qualifications

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or another U.S. state (must apply for Alaska license before start)
BSN from an accredited nursing school
BLS for providers certification
BLS instructor certification preferred or obtained within 1 year
Clinical Competency Assessment within 3 months of hire

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Professional nursing principles applied to long-term care patients
Curriculum development and adult learner education methods
Evidence-based training modalities and competency evaluation
Familiarity with TEAMS, Workday, Canva, Articulate, Smartsheet, SharePoint, PowerPoint
High-quality communication and policy compliance
